Happy Holidays!

 Happy Holidays!
(a little late, I know)

We had a very full house for Christmas this year. Peder's parents, brother, sister-in-law, and their 3 daughters joined us for the holiday. Our small house was bursting at the seams but it was bursting with warmth and happiness. It was great to be able to welcome everyone in our home and share Elias's first Christmas with them.

Unfortunately, I had to work while everyone was visiting but was lucky enough to not be on call on Christmas so was able to spend the day with family and help prepare a very yummy feast.

Elias was a little overwhelmed by all the commotion of having such a full house. He quickly made a new best friend out of his 6 year old cousin, Zoey. Zoey loved being able to help take care of her own real live baby-doll! She was always the first to volunteer to feed him and always wanted to sit by him. It was very sweet!

Christmas morning we all gathered in the living room to open presents. Elias was by far the most spoiled by the holiday gifts. He seemed to really enjoy climbing all over the boxes but wasn't very interested in unwrapping. His highlight was probably getting to sit in the middle of all the wrapping paper after everyone finished opening gifts.

It was a lovely holiday and wonderful to spend it with so much family!
Thank you Pinterest for the photo inspiration!
