Saturday, March 9 Elias turned 2 months old! He decided to celebrate by not sleeping AT ALL the night before his birthday and throwing up on both Peder and myself. He is a party animal!

Dislikes: Having to sit in his carseat without the car moving, When his thumb doesn't cooperate
Elias's 2 month well baby check was the Wednesday before his birthday. He was weighed and measured and did wonderfully for his doctor. He also got his first round of shots (minus the HepB shot right after he was born). I chose to nurse Elias during the shots but after each injection (3 total) his sweet little face would turn bright red and we heard screams we hadn't heard before. He calmed down well between injections and would return to nursing without a problem. In some ways I think me hearing his screaming was worse for me that the injections were for him. Overall, he did awesome! He slept most of the evening after the appointment, never got a fever, and generally remained our sweet, happy little guy. Here's to hoping that future shots go as well!
My favorite thing about having a 2 month old are his smiles. Here are some of his best!
