3 Months

Can you believe our baby is 3 months old? I sure can't!

Dislikes: "The box" aka his carseat

This has been an exciting month!

Match Day was March 15. Match Day is the day that all medical students learn where they will be going for residency training.  The Alaska WWAMI office had a little party for all of the students in Anchorage where we received and opened our letters together.  It was an early morning for Elias but he was excited to learn that I matched at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise, ID!!

This was a hugely exciting relief. As Peder can tell you, I had been very anxious and a little pessimistic leading up to the match.  I was so excited to have matched at my first choice program!!  Boise is perfect for us as the training will be rigorous but humane and the city is exactly 9hrs from my parents in Oregon and Peder's parents in Montana.  We are looking forward to spending 3 years closer to our families but will be sad to leave our friends in Alaska.

Other events for the month...

We went for a cold walk with our new stroller.

It was a beautiful day!

Elias proved that he is my son by both sucking his thumb and loving on Sunny!

Sunny was my lovey toy when I was a baby!

Why else do you have kids other than to dress them up silly or put them in funny poses?

I got to come home from work to this cute sleep face and my wonderful husband/Elias's wonderful daddy!
